We had a busy Saturday! Richard bar-b-q'd a couple of briskets and some chicken for a friend of ours... then we headed over to the school. Bria had her fall festival and we both volunteered to work. I worked the cookie walk from 3:30 - 5:00 then Richard and I worked the popcorn booth from 5:00 - 6:00. Thanks to everyone who watched the kids for us so we could help the school.
The kids had so much fun! Bria wore her costume from last year. She also won 1st place for her scarecrow princess pumpkin!

Lucas didn't want to leave!
After fall festival we headed home. We had some friends come over and watch the UFC fights!
For those of you who weren't able to make it to Lucas' party here are a few pictures and a couple of videos!

My little monkey is 2! .JPG) The monkey cake Aunt Janet made! These are the cupcakes Brittany made! Make a wish! Real birthday Hitting the pinata
Here are some of the bows I made for a friend.
A couple were for Bria too! These are a few of my favorites. I love these colors!
Well I'm a day late but I do have good news! Bria won 1st place in the fire prevention poster contest! YAY! They displayed all the first place winners from each school at the mall. Don't you just love the "fake" smile!?! She was a little disappointed she didn't win again, but we are so proud of her!
Well as the kids and I were leaving Wendy's an elderly couple backed into my suburban. I got out to look at the damage and they got out too but we didn't see much so I called Richard to see what he wanted me to do. He was on his way home from work and about 15 minutes away so he told me if it didn't look bad just to let them go. Since we weren't hit hard and all I could see was where their rubber bumper rubbed off onto my front bumper I told them everything was fine. When we got home Richard looked at the damage and he didn't think much of it until he decided to take a second look and saw that it apparently pushed the entire bumper in which will cause it to eventually start to crack. UGH!! So we will have to replace the entire bumper at $500+, but that won't be anytime soon!! Richard is sick we're hoping it's just a cold and not the dreaded FLU! Luckily Bria and Lucas are getting better from their colds. I'm just trying to stay as far away as possible from all these sick people since I'm all out of sick days! I'll be posting some good news tomorrow! | |
| So this is something new we will be trying since not all of our family is near and doesn't get to share all of our special moments with us. I will be trying to catch everybody up with the things that have been going on recently! Thanks for looking and enjoy! | |
